About me
Dr. Allison Wilson is an Associate Professor and Director of the University of Montana Insitute for Early Childhood Education. She received her Ph.D. in Special Education and Early Intervention from the University of Oregon. Over the last 20 years, Dr. Wilson has worked with and on behalf of young children and families. She teaches coursework focusing on family engagement, curriculum methods, early assessment, and child guidance. Her research interests are focused on personnel preparation of early childhood teachers, community-level intervention to address equity and opportunity for young children, and embedded intervention to increase language-rich interactions between young children and caregivers.
