About me
Marie Judisch joined the Office of Public Instruction in April of 2023 as the Senior Manager of Teaching and Learning. In this position, Marie has leadership oversight of Career Technical and Adult Education, Assessment, MT Literacy Grants, Teacher Learning HUB, and K-12 Content Standards, Professional Learning, and Early Literacy. Before joining OPI, she held the position of PK-3 principal for seven years, concurrently assuming roles such as K-12 Curriculum Coordinator, K-12 Data and Testing Coordinator, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, and overseeing the administration of the 21st Century Community Learning Century Grant, all while still teaching core and intervention classes to meet students at their level. Throughout her career, she has taught some aspects of every grade K-8, including core classroom, math and reading interventions, and gifted and talented groups. Her primary focus as an early education leader for the last 3 years was ensuring her school implemented evidence-based practices in reading instruction, she committed to learning the Science of Reading research and implemented aligned instructional strategies at all levels of learning. Marie is passionate about supporting Montana educators and students, firmly believing that those living in this great state deserve the very best educational opportunities possible.
